DOMINIC ALBANO COLLECTION creates elevated essentials inspired by queer culture, European fashion, and nostalgia. Minimal silhouettes, considered fabrics, and photography connect each piece to the same world.
Who is Dominic Albano?
Dominic Albano is the founder, designer, creative director, and photographer behind the collection. His background as an underwear model informs his approach to fit, imagery, and personal expression.
Why do you release pieces in small drops?
We introduce pieces gradually, giving each release its own story. New fabrics, colors, and silhouettes build on the collection over time.
What do New, Core, and Archive mean?
New features our latest arrivals. Core brings together our ongoing essentials. Archive includes selected earlier styles and colors at reduced prices.
FABRIC & MATERIALS
What fabrics do you use?
Our collection includes lyocell jersey, ribbed lyocell, ribbed cotton, and recycled polyester blends for swimwear. See each product page for its fabric composition.
What is the difference between lyocell and ribbed cotton?
Our smooth lyocell styles have a soft, lightweight feel with stretch. Ribbed cotton offers a more substantial texture and a classic feel. Each brings a different character to the collection.
Why introduce different fabrics?
We choose fabrics to suit the shape, texture, and feel of each piece. The materials evolve while our approach to color, fit, and imagery remains consistent.
What is different about the swimwear?
Our swimwear uses recycled polyester and high-clo spandex for a snug, sculpted fit. It feels more structured and compressive than our underwear.

How do you approach sustainability?
We consider material choices as part of our approach to quality. Our collection includes Tencel™ lyocell and recycled polyester swim fabrics. Composition varies by style; see individual product pages for details.

What size should I order?
Start with our size guide, then check the fit notes on the product page. Fabric and construction affect how each style fits, even within the same size.
Do all your underwear styles fit the same?
Our styles offer different levels of coverage, waistband constructions, and fabric stretch. Smooth lyocell underwear generally fits true to size or slightly generously, while ribbed styles may feel firmer.
How do the tanks fit?
Our ribbed cotton tanks have a slim fit. The ribbed lyocell scoop neck tank has a softer, draped fit. Refer to the chest measurements and model sizing notes on each product page.
How does swimwear fit compared with underwear?
Swimwear fits more snugly by design. Follow the swimwear measurements in our size guide. If you are between sizes or prefer less compression, consider sizing up.
Will you introduce more styles or sizes?
The collection continues to evolve through new cuts, materials, and colors. Available sizes are listed on each product page.
CARE
How should I care for my pieces?
Follow the care label and instructions on the product page, as fabrics require different care.
For underwear and cotton tanks, wash cold with like colors on a gentle cycle. Air drying is preferred; use low heat only where the care instructions allow.
For swimwear machine wash cold on a delicate cycle or hand wash with a small amount of detergent. Hang to dry. Do not bleach or iron.
ORDERS & SHIPPING
When will my order ship?
We ship Monday through Saturday and aim to dispatch orders the same day whenever possible. You will receive tracking information once your order ships.
Do you offer express shipping?
Available express and expedited shipping options appear at checkout.
Do you ship internationally?
Yes. Available destinations and shipping options appear at checkout. Any applicable customs duties or import taxes are the customer’s responsibility unless included at checkout.
What if my package is lost or stolen?
Email us with your order number and tracking information. We review these situations individually and work with you to investigate the issue.
PACKAGING & PRIVACY
Is your packaging discreet?
Yes. Orders ship in plain, unbranded mailers without exterior brand logos.
RETURNS & EXCHANGES
Can I return or exchange my purchase?
Underwear, swimwear, tank tops, and original Polaroids are final sale and cannot be returned or exchanged for fit, sizing, preference, or change of mind. Contact us before ordering if you need help choosing a size or have questions about an item.
What if I receive an incorrect, defective, or damaged item?
Email info@dominicalbanocollection.com within 15 days of delivery with your order number and photographs of the issue.
Keep garments unworn, unwashed, unused, and unaltered, with tags and packaging intact. Swimwear must not have been exposed to water. Keep Polaroids and their packaging in the condition received.
If we confirm a manufacturing defect, fulfillment error, or shipping damage, we will provide an appropriate replacement, exchange, credit, or refund, subject to availability and applicable law.
Are variations in Polaroids considered defects?
Each original Polaroid is a unique photographic work. Natural variations in tone, grain, and instant-film characteristics are part of the medium and are not considered defects.
